This powerhouse addition is more than just a workhorse. The Western Star 48X features a 48” sleeper cab, Detroit DT12 Auto transmission, and a 600 horsepower engine—making it ideal for the demands of long-haul freight across states.
It was purchased through Hartwig’s Shepparton, and we’d like to thank Simon Calogero, our sales rep, for his great service in helping us secure this standout unit.
But it’s not just what’s under the hood that counts—the sleeper cab is decked out for comfort, with a microwave, TV, and a Coolabah air conditioner and heater, making those overnight rests on the road that much more manageable.

Modern safety features are a priority for us, and this new Western Star doesn’t disappoint. With active cruise control and lane departure warning systems, we’re ensuring our drivers stay safe and supported on every run—whether navigating city traffic or cruising down the Hume Highway.
